About The Stained Wall:
The steep wall located directly above Tree Frog. This wall has purple stains from fire retardent dropped from an airplane back in the 50's (i think). The wall has three good routes on it, both slab and crack climbs. |
Approach: | Take trail up and around SLeeping Princess/Pig Pen (same as Tree Frog) But go directly up the corner (fixed rope) above Sleeping Princess/Pig Pen. Traverse right from top of corner (another fixed line) to access the wall. Another option os to climb Tree Frog, the climb tops out directly below the Stained Wall. |
