About Nicolum Knob:

This is the south-facing granite crag visible above the junction of Highway 3 and 5, just east of Hope. The climbing is a mix of splitter granite cracks and technical face and slab on small holds and slopers.
Nearest town or city: Hope
Directions: From Hope, drive east on Highway 3. Follow Highway 5 where the two split, then park immediately on the right at a quarry at the south end of the bridge over Nicolum Creek. Walk across the highway bridge and where the concrete barrier ends, look for a trailhead marked by flagging tape and hubcaps. Follw this trail into the woods, past an information kiosk, and up a good trail to the bluffs.
