Keenlyside Boulders
About Keenlyside Boulders:
Here is a big group of Gneiss Boulders (15-20) right off the side of the road to Syringa. Some hi ball, maybe tr some cracks, some nice overhanging stuff, good landings. One has been cleaned so far and offers 10 or so problems from easy to .... who knows? It appears to be crown land on first inspection but will check that. Lots of potential here, check it out. |
Approach: | Drive west from castlegar towards the Hugh Keenlyside Dam on Broadwater Road. Just before the left turn to a riverbank fishing site (which is just before the road that will take you across the dam) park just before the road cut on your right. Walk straight to the first boulder uphill before the road cut. |
Approach Time: | 1 min |

Access Issues: | There is private land to the west after the boulders peter out and eventually to the east if you keep walking back to Robson. Always good to keep a low profile and be nice to everyone. |
