About Rusty's Roost:
| Some little known climbs up the Carmi/Ellis canyon. This area was bolted by Russ Turner back in the early 90's.There are 9 completed sport and mixed routes, to include a 5.7, 5.9, 5.9+, 5.10a, 5.10b, 5.10b, 5.10c, 5.10c, 5.10d, with 2 other projects. Some routes have to be rappelled into and climbed out of. |

| Directions: | Drive up Carmi ave towards Lost Moose Lodge, turn right on Beaverdell Rd. & follow this road to the cattle guard & dirt road. Park in the Ellis Creek & Garnet Fire parking lot on the right hand side. Hike a few min's to the trail fork. Go left toward the Garnet fire view point, follow this trail for a few mins untill you find a large tree across the path. Turn left & leave the path & walk toward the Canyon. Look for rap stations & bolts at the top of the cliff's. |
