About Main Wall:

The conglomerate rock at Samsun Narrows is from the same geological formation as Mt. Maxwell on Saltspring Island. Currently there are about 10 routes on this wall with opportunity for further development. Most of the routes are sport but there are a few trad routes and one route that could be aid climbed through a horizontal roof. Routes are mostly 30m single pitch but there are a few 2 pitch routes. Watch for loose roack on many of the newer routes (helmets are a plus).
