About Cal-Cheak:

A great area close to Whistler with 80-90 good to great climbs. Spread out over a dozen or so crags 5-15 minutes from the car park some with "worth trip" views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Lots of new routes still going up. Well worth a day or two if in the area. Provincal campground 5 minutes up the enterance road.
Nearest town or city: Whistler
Directions: 13.5 km. south of Whistler turn east up the Daisy Lake FSR (the road to the bungee jumping). Drive 2-3 km. in, crossing a bridge about half way to the climbers lot on the right hand side of the road. Walk a hundred meters or so back along the road to a rock cairn on the east. Enter the path here and climb thhe stairs, first cliff is encountered within 5 minutes.
