About The Farm:
| The Farm aka The Chicken Coup is a man made ice park on a granite overhang on Blackcomb Mountain. In late 2001 a patrol member noticed the featured overhang and an adjacent snowmaking hydrant. With the cooperation of the snowmakers and some other patrollers they hung a tube of chicken wire off the rim and seeded the first of several ice features. The area now has three pure ice routes and four mixed routes with more to come. |
