About Le Grand Morne:

In the region of the "asbestos" the Grand Morne was recently opened.
It was kept secret for a while, but finally local climbers signed an agreement for five years.

It's a nice place to trad or top rope, not many sport climbs.

You can camp on the spot, at the summit. You need to walk to get to the camping. It's a 30 min uphill walk with all your stuff. But the walk is worth it. You have a very nice view of the whole region. Price for camping is 14$ a night or 8$ per person per night for the refuge.

Nearest town or city: Saint-Clotilde
Directions: Head East on Route 112 crossing Thetford Mines.
In Robertsonville, take Route 269 South at the traffic lights.
Continue until you meet 8e Rang S, on which you turn left, towards Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie.
Past the village you will see a sign for Le Grand Morne, keep going straight and continue on a dirt road which turns right (south) until you see a sign and a parking lot on your left.
