Beautiful boulders & rock walls all over but during my week there most everything we saw was 'crumbly' brecchia - which for this hard Potrero limestone sport climber at least meant staying closer to the ground... The Gigante Wall, below, I only heard about but given it is nearer to the "Basaseachi Waterfall" than to the "Sierra Tarahumara" zone (which typically refers to the areas near the Chepe train line), it should be listed in that section instead. |

Directions: | From the Sea of Cortez (Golfo de California) one can take the 1st class Chepe train from Los Mochis, Sinaloa (near Topolobampo - where the ferry arrives from La Paz). From the East there are more options: train, bus or car from Chihuahua (5+ hours) & many other cities |
