About Palisades Park:
| No Bolts. Most of the routes were established on trad. lead. Those that cannot be lead, can be top-roped. No camping w/out permission(good luck). No public phone(Oneonta Fire and rescure 4 mi.). Youll need a standard rack, and 60ft. of webbing. Oh yeah, plenty of bouldering around also. |

| Directions: | North of Birmingham I-59, to Exit#166(US 231). Hang a left for about 20 min(youll pass Horse Pens 40). In Oneonta youll dead end. Make a left and a quick right(still 231 N/W). After Approx 2 miles youll see a "Palisades Park" sign on the right, and follow similar signs for another two miles. There are also directions via www.urbanoutpost.com (these save you 5 minutes and it's a shorter route, but directions are more complicated) |
