About Revelation Mountains:

Hardly anyone knows about or has visited the Revelation Mountains. To date, only about a dozen expeditions have travelled in to the range, with weather being the greatest obstacle. Located about 100 miles northwest of Anchorage, this is a heavily glaciated group of mountains to the north of the Neacola Mountains and the Stony River drainage. The Revelations remain a pristine and untouched range, with a list of first ascent teams including Tom Walter and Fred Beckey keeping in line with the low-profile of these awesome granite peaks.
Nearest town or city: Miles and miles from anywhere!
Directions: Fly in from Anchorage, Nikiski, Girdwood or Talkeetna. This area is close to the coast, so prepare yourself for bad weather and self-sufficiency. Rescue could never reach you or take days waiting out a storm, so extremely experienced teams ONLY should visit this area.
