Description:

Route begins at roof about 50' above the ground; left of Mountaineer's Route @ 100 yds. Up the crack to the right side of the roof and into the Groover's groove. Squeeze thru and stem above to top pitch one(5.9 90'). Stem into the second pitch with natural pro in the dihedral below first bolt (5.9 90'). The third pitch becomes more of a dihedral and steepens with a bulge above. (5.10c 90'). The last two pitches are easy 5th with little pro available. Pitch four tops out on a large ledge (5.6 200') Single bolt anchor on far wall of ledge. Last pitch is an easy but slightly loose start thru shrubbery. Meander to the top and catch the evening view.

Descent Options:

Rappel from third pitch or continue to top and walk northerly to Mountaineer's Gully/Descent; double ropes. Watch out for cholla all along the descent...
