About Picnic Area:

This is a section of rock on the north bank of the East Verde River first encountered on Flowing Springs Rd.
Approach: Drive north from Payson on Hewy 87 @ two miles to Flowing Springs Rd and turn right/east. At the first camp/picnic area off Flowing Springs Rd park and walk northerly to the seasonal river. The climbs are along the ridge facing SE.
