About Sedona Bouldering:
Anvil Rock Boulders This area has some good quality sandstone bouldering. Can be hot in the summer but Oak Creek is'nt to far away to chill you out. |
Nearest town or city: | Sedona |
Directions: | Take 89A through Sedona North towards Oak Creek Canyon. After the city ends you will see a Place on the right called Therapy On the rocks(massage/mineral baths). Don't park here! There is a pull out across the street that fits aout 2 cars. If you can't park there park in Sedona and walk up 89A. From the pullout cross the street and take the trail on the right side of thearapy. Cross the creek and follow trail west to the boulders. |

Access Issues: | NEW ACCESS! Therapy on the Rocks has No Trespassing signs on the trail now. Please respect No Trespassing Signs! To access the Anvil Boulders, you can still park in the pull out described above but now you must walk a couple hundred yards south, toward Sedona, along the guard rail to pick up another trail that can be followed down to the creek past some steep scrambling. Please do not enter any private property and keep a low profile so we can continue using this new access. |
