About Ice Box:

A 140 foot deep and 100 foot long hole in the ground that is overhung pretty much on every side. The rock is great and it only gets about an hour of sun on one part towards the top. If it's 110 degrees above it's still 80 at the bottom. Only way in is to rap in and the only way out is to climb. I've included longitude/lat. for your locating ease. The icebox and surrounding climbs are not for the tender hearted. The icebox approach is easy but the area is adventure climbing, with some loose rocks, rattlesnakes and etc.. but you will be rewarded with good climbing, atmosphere, quiet, and views.
