Description:

This climb is actually a 5 minute hike down from the icebox. Hike out of IB until you come to a dropoff, turn around and look up, you will see the turrett that Annihilation goes up. Go back to the base and look for a bolt on the first pitch. first gear is a fixed nut. Pitch one starts up crack past some pro to first bolt about 30 feet up. climb up and slightly left through some cracks for pro to top of small attached pilar to 2 bolt anchor ; 5.9 80 feet. Pitch 2: 7 bolts and gear. follow bolt line straight up with occasionally chances for gear. first roof is crux 10c; 105 feet. Requires one 200 foot rope to rap down. May do the route as one pitch if you have 3 or 4 longer runners. Great route, great exposure, beautiful views.
