About The Whale:

The whale is the first formation encountered on the west side trail, wait, what trail, lol.it is one of the larger granite formations on the mountain, allthough its contibutions to the area are very small, (ya we just found out today). there are 3 aid climbs locate on the north side of the whale. and two routes on the west facing side, the west facing ones arent really worth it in my opinion, but fly if you want to.
