About Brushy Basin:

From the Phoenix metro area, take State Route 87 (Beeline) North towards Payson. Just past the Bush Highway junction, turn right onto the Four Peaks road (Forest Road #143). Follow the Four Peaks road for 10.1 miles to the parking area (about 0.6 miles past the Cline trailhead).
