About Miners Needle:

From Peralta Camp, take the Dutchman's trail about 3 miles east, north .Then west and south to near the summit. Stay on trail because bushwacking up straight up to any of the crags in Miners Needle Area may appear to be easier just because its shorter. But its not.When the trail reaches a switchback north of Miners Needle, leave the trail and hike south up slabs and slopes to the to the cliffs. the lower east wall is to the left. The Three needles groups forms the summit area. Middle Needle Being the most popular
