About Hideout Hollow:
A magical place built of bomber Atoga Sandstone. A large bluffline arcs off from either side of a 30 foot waterfall over a cave. Also, there are large (30 feet or more) boulders scattered inside the half-circle area made by the bluffs. Access is still a little tricky, be sure not to cross over onto private property. The best resource is to get the USGS 7.5 minute "PONCA" quadrant. It shows boundary lines. This area is still very undeveloped as a climbing area. First Ascent opportunities abound. The guidebook is in the works. |
