Directions: From I-40: take 215 N (exit 24) about 9 miles to Fern; from the sharp right turn "in Fern" go another 0.7 mi to an unmarked dirt road on the right; take this road 1.6 mi to another unmarked road on the right, which immediately splits; take the right option about 1/3 mile to a parking area on the left. Trail leads to the creek and the climbing.
