About Granite Creek:
Granite is a small bouldering area about 8 miles south from Carmel. Granite creek has a Few nice and easy crack/face climbs (about 15). Most of the routes are high balls reaching 15 to 25 feet high. The landing is full of rock of all sizes. Master crash pads are recommended as well as dedicated spotter. Note: Few bolts can be found on top of the highest climbs which can be used to setup top ropes. |
Approach: | 8 miles south Carmel (on the highway 1), cross the small bridge call Granite Canyon, stop at the third turnout after the bridge. Hike down the steep trail. Down climb easy 5.4 crack to reach the climbs. |
