About Slick Rock:

This big dome is obvious before getting to Ice House Store. Drive north from Ice House Store on the road to Loon Lake to Picket Pen Road. This road ascends east from the main road for several miles, past Slick Rock, then bends around to dead end in a meadow east of the rock. Hike and bushwhack a mile or so to the dome. Most routes become ridiculously easy after the first pitch, except for More Affliction which stays interesting for two pitches. About six routes were established by Placerville locals in the early 80s. 1/4" bolts: take a bolt kit!
