| Directions: | THERE IS A SPEED TRAP ON THE ROAD TO TICK ROCK-DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT. Directions From PCH: Go east on Sunset to Palisades Drive. Turn left and go north on Palisades Drive for about 1.5 miles. Park between a no graffitti sign and a rock slide sign on the left by the huge rock face. Look for a small dirt trail underneath a hanging tree that goes up a hill after the first set of rock slide signs. If you pass the 2nd set of Rock Slide signs or you get to santa ynez rd or avenida de santa ynez and the houses you've gone too far. There are several large parking areas on the left (north) side of the road. don't park there. be very careful and look both ways when making a U turn or crossing the road. Walk up the trail to the rock. |
