About Tram Boulders:

An extensive boulderfield located near the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. A 15 minute tram ride takes you from 2643' at the bottom (Valley Station) to 8515' at the top (Mountain Station). Due to the elevation the climbing season runs spring through fall with summer often being breezy and pleasant. Several main areas have been developed but a walk in many directions will likely turn up some gems as well. A beautiful place to boulder and escape from it all for a few hours or more.
Nearest town or city: Palm Springs
Directions: Access via the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Tickets are $20.80 for adults for one round trip; the annual pass is $120 for adults. Hours of operation as follows - M-F 10 am - 8 pm (last car down at 9:45pm) and weekends/holidays 8 am - 8pm (last car down at 9:45pm). More information on the tram is to be found on their website (pstramway.com ). Once at the top of the tram head down the paved sidewalk, veer right and boulders will start to come into view in a few minutes.
