About Rockville:
Rockville is certainly not a Destination Area! Everyone knows theres no climbing in Rockville right??? Right??? Hehehe. Actually there is. From some scattered bouldering to a few top rope walls, this place will soon be sporting some stuff to keep local Fairfield/Vacaville residents busy when they don't have enough time to get out for a full day. The area is a Fairfield City Park. It has a designed trail system and mountain bike trails which are some of the best locally. The climbing is on volcanic tuff that while not the best of quality is good enough to get your fix if in a bind. The park can be quite popular on the weekends. More info will be coming, as more rock is developed. |
