About La Jolla Beaches:

The sandstone cliffs here offer a great place to go play around on a number of constantly changing faces, mantles, and even a few overhung problems. It's all beach bouldering on weak sandstone with mostly sandy beach landings. Just leave the rock shoes (you'll just fill them with sand), chalk bag (keep the cliffs clean, please), and crash pad (the sand is plenty soft) at home. The rock here slick in places and very brittle, so try to do as little damage (to the rock and yourself) as possible when climbing here.
Nearest town or city: La Jolla
Directions: The cliffs start near La Jolla Cove and can be found along all the beaches around the point (Boomers, Shell, etc) on down beyond Marine Street to the south. Just walk north or south from People's Wall and you'll see cliffs all along the coast.
