About Poway Crags:

This was a nice out of the way sport climbing area near Mt Woodson. The approach is mostly uphill and takes about forty minutes, but those who made the hike would have enjoyed fun climbs on high-quality smooth granite. |

| Directions: | Park near the intersection of Poway Rd. and Hwy. 67, and hike about a mile up the Iron Mtn Trail to a "tee", then make a left (going north) and hike about another mile passing an overlook spur until a climber's trail breaks right (northeast). which is followed to the crags. |
