Courtright Island is an outcropping of granite that is often overlooked due to the large amount of climbing potential throughout the area. However, this mini-dome provides a good handful of entertaining top rope climbs on its south and southeastern sides. The "island" can either be accessed by boat or better yet wait till late summer or early fall to gain access to the island via an isthmus (on the eastern side) which is revealed once the water line drops late in the season. To access all top rope anchors, climb the easy north facing side.
