About Cathole Pass-Washingtons Head:

Cathole is the home of "Pegasus", one of the best 5.8 leads in CT. Another standout is "Danzig", a beautiful sustained 5.12 line up a slightly overhanging face. Belayers should wear a helemet and be prepared for loose rock. The climbs here range from 30 to 60 ft. One additional bonus is the very short approach from rt 71.

Directions: It's just past the meriden mall on rt. 71. Park in the pulloff on the cliffside of the road.
