About Dog Walk Area:

The Dog Walk Area includes a 3rd or 4th class scramble down into the canyon, and is probably the most or second-most popluar way to access the climbing. From the main parking area, follow the trail southeast across the creek, along the top of the cliffline. The trail bends gently around to the west at the East Falls, and across another creek(probably dry). At the top of a slight hill, you'll find a blocky scramble down into the canyon with a large tunnel at the bottom, formed by ancient rockfall. Go through that tunnel and this is the Dog Walk Area. Alternatively from the North Falls, rap in and follow the trail southeast across the pond toward the East Falls. The trail will cross a creek bed and go up a short hill to some big boulders at the base of the southeast access scramble. Go through the tunnel and you have arrived.
