| Circa 2007 climbing wall. Sandy texture. Mostly within ten degrees of vertical or horizontal. Several small roofs. No slabs or caves. 22 ropes, 6 lead sections, 2 arch/roof sections, 5 autobelays Flooring made up of 6 inches of rubber chips, on top of foam matting. Difficulties from 5.5 to 5.12; V0 to V7 Approximately 90 routes available at any given time. Diverse group of setters offer several different styles of routes.. LifeTime is not a climbing gym / rock gym. It is a general audience, national, corporate gym, and membership runs around $70/month for a single adult. Admission to climbing wall, shoes, harness, and belay tools available at no additional charge. There are no daily admission rates, but anyone can try out the gym for a day for free, and there are often 7, 14, and 30-day risk free trials. Members can bring a non-member guest twice a year. They also offer off-hours group events with climbing. The gym is open 24x7, but climbing area is only staffed 5-9pm Mon-Thu and 12a-5p Sat&Sun. Outside of these hours, climbing is closed, though physically accessible. Lifetime is the only indoor climbing in Kansas City with autobelays. |
