About LSU Recreational Sports Center:
| Louisiana State University has built an indoor climbing gym for students. There is a $7 fee for visitors, who must be sponsored my a REC member. Trial climbs are $3, and a day pass is $6. The gym is open from 4pm-9pm, M-F, no weekends yet. There are 10 top rope stations which top out at 19 feet. The bouldering wall tops out at 14 feet, and has over a half dozen routes that use the natural features of the wall. LSU is located near Baton Rouge downtown, and the REC is located near the lakes. The gym is pretty small (inside a racquetball court), but it has some good bouldering problems. Also you can climb with beautiful LSU girls. |
