About Rock Hill-Wishing Rocks:
Two seperate groups of boulders, about >1 mile apart. The rocks are on sketchy property. Follow the access directions and you should not have any trouble. The rocks are opaline-cemented quartz and has a variety of holds to work. The rocks are small, but the problems are fun. Lots of glass and Graf so be prepared for it. |

Directions: | First set of rocks Get to the intersection of Route 2 and Jumpers. Enter the parking lot that contains BJ's and Ollies. Park and walk behind shopping center, into the woods, follow trail to rocks. You can park behind the shopping center and make a shorter walk, up to you. I tend to park with the other cars Second set of rocks Get to intersection of 177 and 648. Enter small shopping strip across the street from checker's. Park in lot and walk behind strip. as you walk up the little alleyway you will see a trail into the woods, take that until it meets up with a bigger trail in the woods, go left until the trail curves hard to the right. Keep going straight off trail. you will see the beginning of the rocks. |

Access Issues: | The folks on Wishing Rock road would rather everyone not park there. There has been issues with that in the past. Police were involved. Please don't park there. Park at the shopping center. |
