Another option if the main cliff is busy or you want a change of scene. This area is a shady slab, though it does offer a few beautiful trad lines. There are also quite a few stunning boulders in the area, though a scrub brush, a pad and a spotter are recommened for many of the problems. |
Approach: | Follow the main trail in until you have past the storage area. Take a hard right and loop around the storage area (never hike through) until you reach a fire road (gas pipe line). Hike up this road (often it is also a small river) a few minutes, until you see the cliff on the left hand side. |
