About The Cove:

If you stand in the gravel bottomed cove located at the far north of the peninsula, and look out towards the lake (east), there will be sandstone on your right and left, and then the cliff-jumping rocks farther out on your left. Several really short toprope set-ups can be rigged and some boulder problems worked along the sandstone on the north wall. Some overhanging boulder starts to the left of the rock with the tree growing out of it. Sandstone is rough, and is in a constant state of disintegration.
Approach: Road closed late fall to late spring. Hike along sunset bay to get there fastest. Otherwise park in the far north parking lot.
