About Sturgeon Dam:

So far I have only made it there once, and due to the abundace of mosquitoes I didn't get many climbs in. From what I could see, there appears to be a lot of great bouldering opportunites and just down the road there are some larger bluffs. All the rocks are quarts and most are just on the edge of the dam access road. There was a nice arete higher up, but there is no good way to spot and not slide bown the hill. Since this place has not been climbed much some holds are hard to use due to other rocks and moss in them. I will edit this as I climb there more.
Nearest town or city: Norway
Directions: This place is very easy to access. Take US 2 to Lorretto (Between Norway and Powers) Turn at Danny's Market (toward the store - away from the lakes) About a half mile down the road there you will come between two small rocks. Right after them you will take a left on Sweede Settlement Road. Take that a short ways untill you reach Sturgeon Dam Road. (If you get to where Sweede Settlement Road comes to a T, you have gone too far.) At the end of the Sturgeon Dam Road is an area to park, and just beyond the gate are the rocks.
