About Minnesota:
When most people think of Minnesota they think flat or prairies but Minnesota has many great climbing areas. The North shore of lake Superior even has some muti pitch routes, in the middle of the prairie in southwestern MN. there is about 2 miles of outstanding Quartzite cliffs at Blue Mound state park, on the banks of the Missippi in Red Wing MN. has over 130 sport routes at Barns Bluff, there are many more areas and some that are under development. So if your find yourself passing thru or hanging out in Minnesota, be sure to cantact one of the locals and spend a day or two in one of our great climbing areas. |
