About Picnic area:

(from the Falcon guide) Drive back to the picnic grounds by the river and park as close to the boat launch as possible. Hike up and right toward the riverbluff trail. Stay on the official trail, eventually reaching the edge of the cliffs. The easiest approach to the base leaves the trail at this point, goes down hill 15' to a three stemmed birch and proceeds up river.
