About Caron Park:

There is a sweet cracked-dinosaur-egg granite boulder in this forest preserve.
Nearest town or city: Nerstrand
Directions: North of County Road #88 (170th Street) and three miles from Nerstrand Woods State Park. Turn right into the parking area off of 170th Street (this is after you go through part of the forest preserve. When you turn right you will be on the road a couple hundred feet away from the forest and there won't be trees by the road.) Park your car and take the only trail there is. Find the waterfall/pond on the trail (like after 3 mins of walking). Walk up past the waterfall and walk up the hill to the left. Look for the dinosaur egg a couple hundred feet to the left.
