About Courtois (Huzzah):

To my knowledge there are no "guide books" on the area but there are some stl climbers who have been going out there for quite some time and they may know some of the route grades and names. Most of the climbing is moderate to hard limestone sport or bouldering. There are some small caves along the bluff line up to the developed areas if you are interested in caving. It is right next to a decent sized FREE campground with a nice swimming hole and more caves. Summer camping would not be advised at the free campground due to the local hoosier factor, it can get somewhat rowdy, but Ozark Outdoors is on the road on the way in, and they have nice campsites with restrooms and showers and cabins. I'm not sure who has done most of the development but the actual cliff is pretty long and could sustain much more development, though it would take a lot of cleaning. In the same basic area there is some roadside bouldering but the quality isn't that great and none of it is very hard.
Nearest town or city: Leaseburg
Directions: Coming from St. Louis take I-44 west to Leasburg (exit 214) take Hwy H through Leasburg out to Onondoga Cave State Park. At this point the road turns to gravel stay on the main road you will come to a cross roads, go straight. You will get down in the river valley and there will be a junction by a shooting range, take a left and continue straight and you will go through the campground. Drive all the way through the camp ground and at the end there is a parking area right next to the creek. Park here and take the trail leading up stream and look for bolts. At the end of the bluff line there is a fun little boulder cave. If you hike all the way to the end of the trail there is a "hanging canyon" if you like geology or waterfalls you might want to check it out.
