Deep water soloing (psychobloc) in old quarry. $10 bucks to get in (No nudity, profanity, fighting, glass bottles)! (DO NOT HIDE in the trunk-they check); other than that pretty much anything goes. Lots of potential. Be careful! There have been deaths here, not climbers, but stupid hoosiers (rednecks). If you use common sense it is the best summertime climbing in the state. You can rent an inner tube for $5. Make sure your friends are nearby/sober in case you drown. Cutoff jean shorts are optional, mullets and a love of busch are NOT! Directions from St. Louis: 55 South to 67 South @ Knob Lick/Syenite go East (left) on route DD turn South (right) on OO until you get to Mine La Motte the offsets are on your left and are easy to miss. There is an old crane and a ghetto sign that says "offsets." If you get to Frederickton, you've gone too far.
