About Montana:
Montana.....Well if you have never been there, it would be hard to describe. Western Montana is covered with the Rocky Mountains. In the Northern part of the Rockies you will discover Glacier National Park, which is a wonderful place for all kinds of explorers. In the southern ramparts of the Rockies you will find Yellowstone National Park. Just to the North East of Yellowstone you will find Montana's tallest mountain, Granite Peak at 12,799 feet(2,901m). It too has both easy and technical routes to the summit. There is so much climbing here in Montana... you get the idea. But just like all other places that we go to please use good ethics, and check with the Forest Service. Enjoy and climb on! |
