Frog Rock
About Frog Rock:
Frog Rock offers great long limestone sport routes. With the completion of the new trail, this area has seen a boom in route development. From Bozeman take I-90 east about 7 miles to the Trail Creek Exit. Take a right, cross the railroad tracks and look for a trailhead on your right. Park your car here. |
Approach: | Follow the well used trail for quite a while, gaining altitude. Once you believe you are level with Frog rock, you should come across a well used and signed trail that forks to the right. Follow this trail around the hillside, and continue all the way past the crags that are seeing new development. Keep going until you get to the west side of the largest formation. |
