About Mt. Cowen:
Mt. Cowen is the tallest peak of the Absaroka range. Towering at 11,212 feet (according to the usgs map) it is rarely climbed due to it's remote location. It is difficult to see from the road, although it towers above other peaks and is visible from as far away as Sphinx Mountain. |
