About Alternative Crag:

This small cliff has a lot of good climbing, including two of the classic sport routes in the Calico Hills. It faces Northwest and is in a cold and windy location, ideal for warmer weather.
Approach: A short distance before reaching some huge boulders in the meadow, look up to your left (southwest) and you will see a natural rock bridge. Scramble up slabs and head around to the right end of the rock bridge. Walk over the rock bridge and continue up a ramp to the base of an obvious overhanging block.
