Description: It can be argued that the Panty Wall is easily the most popular wall in all of Red Rocks for sport climbers. This is probably where those who learned to climb in Red Rocks spent their first days, both on TR and on lead. Moderates abound, this place is a beginners paradise. On that same note, just left of the easy routes lie some powerful, steep, and bold routes.
Approach: As per the Tiger Wall, take the left trail when possible, then follow this until you can make a right into the drainage. Take this up and then to your right across some slabs, eventually turning left and reaching the base of the wall. A prominent tree is right in the middle of the base of the wall. Beta/Updates: On Jan 20th, 2006, Mountain Gear, the LVCLC, Friends of Red Rock and the Access Fun all chipped in and replaced bad bolts and anchors on the following routes: Boxer Rebellion, Silk Panties, Panty Prow, and Panty Mime. |
