About Bridge Mountain:

Description: Far to the west, high above the canyon lurks as massive white sandstone face and a beautiful looking, crack-laden arete on its northeast side. This is Bridge Mountain, home of a single moderate route and a ruthless approach.

Approach: You have your choice of approaches to Bridge Mountain. You can take the Rocky Gap Road that is a dirt road that runs along the west side of Red Rocks and can be accessed from either Willow Springs or SR 160. You can also (if you're fast) ascend the Frigid Air Buttress via one of it's routes and cross the Maze to the base of the mountain. This requires excellent route-finding skills and a fast pace.

Beta/Updates: Also located at the foot of Bridge Mountain is the area known as the Maze. It is an endless sea of crack-laden, low angle slabs, visible only to those who ascend the Frigid Air Buttress or Bridge Mountain. This is a sea of virgin rock waiting for ascents!
