Currently the best gym in town for both quantity and quality of routes. The new owner (Phil) and his team have worked their butts off making this gym into something really special. The routesetters set nothing but high-quality routes, the employees are friendly and helpful, gear rental is cheap, and a belay class is free. Currently, a large free-standing boulder is under construction and is scheduled to be completed sometime in late '07.
Hours(subject to change): M,W,F: 11:00am - 10:00pm T,Th: 12:00pm - 10:00pm Sat: 9:00am - 12:00am Sun: 11:00am - 9:00pm Rates: Day pass: $10.00/weekdays, $12.00/weekends & holidays Gear rental $8.00 ($4.00 for members) for shoes, harness, & chalkbag. Belay Course- FREE Membership Options: Call (702) 898-8192 for information Size: 12,000 square feet of climbing space. 27 top rope stations, large lead and bouldering area. Also have group/party rates with a small party area which can be reserved. History: Used to be Rocks N' Ropes & Sky's the Limit. Interesting Facts: Routes are changed every 3 months. Also sponsers a climbing team that meets two times a week. Offers a 'Women's Climbing Night' every Wednesday from 5pm to close- special instruction by a woman for women. No extra free, just bring or rent your gear and have fun! Bulletin Board @ front counter for finding climbing partners, etc. |
