About Square Ledge:
With a stellar view of the Northern Presidential Range, a half-mile approach, and a flat sunny top, this is a very popular destination for tourists. The 150' face can have 2 parties comfortably climbing, and the south face holds a handful of more climbs ranging from 5.5 to 5.10. Not only is it very popular for tourists to hike to the top, it's popular with organized climbing groups (read: kids). Go early or late to avoid the crowds. |
